Court case in Bergen Norway, November 2002

This is regarding the first court case, instigated for no other purpose than to take away Astrids parental rights of custody of her 2 year old son. The child was born out of wedlock and Astrid was the only parent this child had to care for him, until the excommunication process began and he was taken away from her. Astrids family use this weapon to try to force Astrid to leave her husband, and to return to her former 'proffessing' status. The workers actively support this tactic!!! 

The following pictures  are from the 3 court days in Bergen  that I was asked by Grant and Astrid to be with them. It was a closed court so we weren't allowed to listen to the proceedings themselves - but got to know Grant and Astrids lawyer quite well, and of course were continuously kept informed as to developments of the case.

Terry Barnato, Grants sister. In the work in Sweden until 2001. Now forbidden by the worker administration  to attend any fellowship meeting in Scandinavia.

Alexandra Barnato, Grants sister, In the work in Italy until 2002. She left the work in Italy in good standing, but upon her return to Sweden was asked keep away from meetings by Eldon Knudson
